Message from Dean to Jean-Marc Hubsch !

'A very big THANKYOU to Jean-Marc Hubsch and everyone at BEI Sensors for organising a very memorable reception and night out in Strasbourg.

After covering so many Kilometres, iwas fantastic to experience such strong welcome.

The trip around Strasbourg made us all realise how beautiful it is, with great monuments, excellent Choucroute, not to mention the beer!!!'

After a memorable group picture in front of the European parlament
As Dean is writing : "After 3 days of biking, the teams from Minden, Strasbourg and Valence meet up at the new European Parlement, what a sight to see 30 bikers in their CST shirts taking over the Esplanade with all the flags behind"

they arrived a few hours ago and were greeted by their colleagues of BEI Sensors // Ils sont arrivés il y a quelques heures et ont été accueillis par leurs collègues de BEI Sensors.
The Valence team thanks Jean-Marc and his team for their warm reception.

The mountain bike team is en route to join the Minden Team in Strasbourg

The Mountain Bikers are done with their trip to Dannemarie, and will now meet the other, Minden's team included in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg
Les VTTistes ont rejoint Dannemarie, et sont maintenant en route pour rejoindre le Parlement Européen où ils retrouveront le reste de l'équipe Française et les coureurs qui arrivent de Minden.

Picnic for the French Team

Well deserved and they left again for the last leg / Bien mérité et ils sont repartis pour le dernier parcours

The french bikers are doing some km and the support team is enjoying l'alsace

The 2 girls were joined by Albin today, and they did some stops along the way.

Mountain bike team is in Montbéliard : 40 km left for today's ride

That is what you call a "Chateau" ( Castle )

And it is also a place to enjoy the "best café-croissant ever" ( says Dean ) to be tempted by some "sweetness" seen in a bakery
C'est aussi l'endroit où on déguste le "meilleur café-croissant du monde" ( dixit Dean ) et pour être tenté par de très apétissants petits gateaux

Long tunnel for the French Road team

Along the way, they went through a 2 km-long tunnel ( le tunnel de Cluny )

The French Mountain Bike team has reached Lyon, where their bike ride stops for today // Les VTTistes sont arrivés à destination à Lyon pour aujourd'hi

The 4 guys have reached Lyon in the end of afternoon, and more precisely the Tête d'Or Park // Les 4 garçons ont atteint Lyon, et plus précisemment le Parc de la Tête d'Or en fin d'après-midi

"United we stand" (Motto of the day for the mountain bikers )  / "L'union fait la force" ( Devise du jour des VTTistes )

"Happy we are to have found a motorized vehicle to rach our accomodation" ( Motto for the evening of the same guys ) // "Contents d'avoir trouvé un véhicule motorisé pour rejoindre leur destination finale" ( Devise de la soirée des mêmes individus )

Did they miss a turn or what ? Ils ont raté un virage ?

Found along the way of the Mountain Bike team... They should have miss a turn somewhere around Lyon :-)

After this morning's croissants, David and Julien stopped in Saint Peter the Bull for food and funny water after 68 km
Après les croissants de ce matin, David et Julien se sont arrêtés à Saint Pierre le Boeuf  ( 68 km )pour un premier ravitaillement

Mountain bikers are doing good // Les VTTistes avancent bien

At 11.15 AM , they have already reached Andancette ( 52 km )  ! At 11h15, ils ont déjà atteint Andancette  ( 52 km ) !

Already lost in France !

The mountain bike team is already lost :-)

The French Team has left Valence for Strasbourg !

And they are out in the wild ! Les voilà partis !
